Amanda Velasquez
Bio: Coach Amanda returns to IVA after head coaching the 13 Premier team last season. Amanda started playing volleyball in 6th grade and continued to play club into High School. Coach Amanda graduated from volleyball powerhouse Pleasant Grove High School after a stellar career. She continued her playing career at Sacramento City College 2009 and 2010 as an Outside/Rightside Hitter. The 2009 team had an undefeated record of 30-0 earning a spot in the State tournament. After Sac City Coach Amanda was a Setter/Hitter for the CSU Sacramento club team 2012-2015. She also served as the Club President leading the team to a 2015 first place finish in the Northern League. Coach Amanda has experience coaching at the elementary, high school and college level. She has also coached the mens varsity team at Sheldon and looks forward to passing on her love for the game! Amanda graduated from CSU Sacramento with a BS degree in Business (specializing in Marketing). ​Amanda now enjoys being a mother to her son Zeph and hanging out with dog (Troy) and cat (Rory).​​
